The City of North Vancouver presented to Surfside Development the 2011 Environmental Stewardship Award for outstanding contributions to the community because our sustainable homes initiatives.

Kerschbaumer Design and Surfside Developments have been honoured with ‘Best single family residence in Vancouver' by the Slow Home Project for the Shore House development in North Vancouver. Slow Home is a social movement inspired by the slow food movement and is defined as a place that is simple to live in, light on the environment, and benefits the lives of the people who reside in it.
